Chris Daniel
Founding Member | Senior Consultant
Chris has dedicated more than 26 years to the hospitality industry, gaining hands on experience across virtually every department. His career has given him a deep understanding of the industry's unique challenges, operational demands and the people who make it thrive.
Having spent much of his childhood exploring the Kruger National Park, Chris developed a lifelong passion for the African bush. This inspired him to complete a B.Sc. Honours Degree in Zoology before beginning his career as a guide at MalaMala Game Reserve. Through hard work, dedication and a passion for excellence, he progressed into General Manager roles at several respected hospitality establishments.
As a Founding Member and Senior Recruitment Consultant at African Echoes Recruitment, Chris combines his extensive hospitality background with specialist recruitment expertise. Having worked in the roles he now recruits for, he understands exactly what employers need and what candidates are looking for.
Chris works closely with both clients and candidates throughout every stage of the recruitment process, ensuring seamless communication and a personalised approach from first contact to successful placement. His goal is simple: connecting the right people with the right opportunities while helping hospitality businesses build exceptional teams.

Maxine Daniel
Founding Member | Office Manager
Maxine has always been passionate about the African bush and its incredible wildlife. After meeting her husband, Chris, at MalaMala Game Reserve, they started a family and spent many years living and working across South Africa, gaining extensive experience in the hospitality industry.
Most recently, Maxine spent 13 years with Seasons in Africa Transfers before co founding African Echoes Recruitment.
At African Echoes Recruitment, Maxine is the driving force behind much of what happens behind the scenes. She edits and refines candidate profiles to ensure they are professional, well presented and ready to make a lasting first impression. She also manages the company's marketing, creates vacancy advertisements, oversees the website and keeps the business's social media active and engaging.
With a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for people, Maxine is dedicated to making every interaction professional, personal and seamless. Whether she is refining a CV, promoting a vacancy or supporting the team behind the scenes, her focus is always on connecting exceptional candidates with the right opportunities.
Having experienced life in hospitality from many different perspectives, Maxine understands the dedication, resilience and professionalism the industry demands. This insight helps her appreciate what employers are looking for and what candidates need to succeed.
Nadine Allan

Nadine grew up in the small town of Sabie, where her passion for people, travel, and hospitality began at an early age. After completing her studies in Recreation and Tourism Management, she started her career at Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve in the world renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, gaining valuable experience in luxury hospitality and developing a strong understanding of the industry's high standards.
In 2024, Nadine married her best friend and relocated to Nylstroom, where she joined African Echoes Recruitment. Her hospitality background, combined with her warm personality and exceptional attention to detail, allows her to build genuine relationships with both candidates and clients.
Affectionately known as our Candidate Queen, Nadine is dedicated to ensuring every candidate is presented at their very best. She takes the time to gather comprehensive information, verify employment history, and obtain authentic references from previous employers, giving our clients complete confidence in every recommendation.
